Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist/Programmer to join our team in Antelope Valley, United States. In this role, you will be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating CNC machines to produce high-quality parts and components with precision and efficiency.

  • Program CNC machines using G-code and M-code to create complex parts and components
  • Set up and operate various CNC machines, including mills, lathes, and multi-axis machines
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD models to determine machining requirements
  • Utilize CAD/CAM software to develop and optimize machining programs
  • Perform precision measurements and quality checks to ensure parts meet specifications
  • Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues to maintain production efficiency
  • Maintain and calibrate CNC machines and tools to ensure optimal performance
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve manufacturing processes
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment
  • Stay current with industry trends and technological advancements in CNC machining

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience in CNC machining and programming
  • Proficiency in CNC programming using G-code and M-code
  • Expertise in CAD/CAM software, such as Mastercam or SolidWorks
  • Strong skills in blueprint reading and interpretation
  • Proficient in using precision measurement tools and techniques
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
  • Knowledge of various materials, cutting tools, and machining processes
  • Understanding of quality control standards and procedures
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in Machine Technology or related field preferred
  • NIMS (National Institute for Metalworking Skills) certifications are a plus
  • Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality and accuracy
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects
  • Strong analytical thinking and decision-making skills
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including shifts, as needed
