CNC Programmer/Process Engineer

1st SHIFT/$70-$110k/FULL TIME

Overview:

Aegis Worldwide is curently partnered with an aerospace manufacturer.

Responsibilities

• Develop manufacturing processes based on customer drawings and specifications.
• Program and adjust CNC machines daily, supporting multiple setups and production changes.
• Improve existing processes to increase efficiency, quality, and productivity.
• Collaborate with operators and vendors to troubleshoot issues and implement improvements.
• Support tooling, fixturing, and machining methods for new and existing parts.
• Apply continuous improvement practices to optimize workflows and reduce waste.

Requirements

• 8+ years of manufacturing or machining experience (degree not required).
• Strong CNC programming experience using Mastercam and G & M Code (required); Mazatrol preferred.
• Experience machining with mills, lathes, and multi-spindle machines (Index or similar preferred).
• CAD experience, ideally with SolidWorks for tooling and fixture design.
• Aerospace experience strongly preferred; open to candidates with small-part, low-volume production experience.
• Strong understanding of tooling, cutting tools, fixtures, and machining processes.
• Ability to use inspection equipment and perform quality checks.
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office).
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and continuous improvement mindset.
