The Artificial Intelligence Solutions Senior Manager will lead the strategy, design, and execution of scalable AI capabilities that enable Wells Fargo to safely and efficiently develop, deploy, and operate AI solutions across the enterprise. This role is responsible for building and evolving foundational AI platforms, reference architectures, reusable components, and guardrails including prompting and tooling patterns, evaluation frameworks, monitoring, and rapid prototyping to accelerate value delivery while ensuring strong governance and controls. Acting as a trusted advisor and consultant to internal business partners, this leader collaborates closely with AI Product Managers and cross-functional stakeholders to translate complex business challenges into AI-enabled solutions that drive transformation. The role also focuses on shaping developer experience, integrating risk and compliance considerations into AI platforms, and leading high-performing teams across multiple AI disciplines.

In this role, you will:

  • Manage and develop teams dedicated to supporting the overall strategy, prioritization and execution of initiatives in multiple core Artificial Intelligence disciplines
  • Consult with Artificial Intelligence Product Managers, identify, functional design, prototyping, testing and training
  • Identify and recommend machine learning solutions for handing unstructured intelligence based content and natural language generation for knowledge representation
  • Influence and collaborate with leaders to set line of business priorities and timelines
  • Collaborate and influence all levels of professionals including more experienced managers
  • Lead team to achieve objectives
  • Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Artificial Intelligence Solutions
  • Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy

Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of Artificial Intelligence Solutions experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 3+ years of management or leadership experience

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience building and evolving scalable enterprise AI platforms that enable safe, efficient, and repeatable development and operation of AI solutions
  • Demonstrated expertise in defining and implementing AI reference architectures, reusable components, and shared services across teams
  • Strong understanding of prompting and tooling patterns, evaluation harnesses (EVALs), model monitoring, and rapid prototyping frameworks
  • Experience designing AI developer experiences that accelerate experimentation while maintaining reliability and consistency
  • Proven ability to integrate governance, risk, compliance, and control mechanisms directly into AI platforms and development workflows
  • Hands-on experience supporting AI lifecycle management, including evaluation, deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement
  • Ability to balance innovation speed with enterprise-scale controls in highly regulated environments

NC- Charlotte Pay Range: $185,000 – $300,000 Annually
